From November 4th to 6th, 2024, Fountain Gate Sports Academy held an exciting series of football trials in Morogoro for players under 17, drawing in promising young athletes from across Tanzania. This three-day event, designed to scout and cultivate new football talent, was attended by many aspiring players hoping to make their mark in the sport. The academy, known for its commitment to nurturing future champions, provided a platform for these young athletes to showcase their abilities and potentially kickstart a professional football journey.
Shaban Kheri, CEO of Fountain Gate Sports Academy, and Sporting Director Alex Alumirah led the event. Both played crucial roles in selecting talent during the trials. The presence of these top officials underscored the academy’s dedication to finding and developing exceptional young players. Each trial day featured rigorous drills, skill assessments, and small-sided matches, allowing scouts to evaluate players’ technical skills, game intelligence, and athletic prowess.
Following the trials, selected players are poised to join their counterparts in camp next week. This intensive training environment will allow the young talents to further refine their skills, foster teamwork, and prepare for competitive play, aligning with Fountain Gate’s mission to empower youth through sports.
