The Wisdom International Tournament is a premier youth football competition organized by Fountain Gate Sports Academy to identify, develop, and showcase the next generation of football talent. Held in Dar es Salaam, the tournament brings together some of the country’s most promising young players, providing a competitive platform where they can demonstrate their abilities while promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
The tournament features teams competing in the Under-7, Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-20 age categories. Participating teams travel from across Tanzania, including Mwanza, Singida, Iringa, Dodoma, Zanzibar, Morogoro, and Dar es Salaam, creating a truly national youth football festival that celebrates talent, diversity, and unity through sport.
Matches are hosted at JMK Park in Kariakoo and the TRA Ground in Kurasini, two venues that provide an exciting atmosphere for players, coaches, parents, scouts, and football enthusiasts. Throughout the tournament, young athletes gain valuable match experience, build confidence, and compete against some of the strongest youth teams in the country.
The competition also welcomes prestigious invited teams, including Azam FC Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17, as well as Young Africans (Yanga) Under-17, adding a high level of competition and offering participants an opportunity to test themselves against some of Tanzania’s leading youth football academies.
As part of Fountain Gate Sports Academy’s long-term vision, the Wisdom International Tournament serves as more than just a football competition.
